Worship Pain is a four-piece black metal band from Tokyo, formed in 2016 and built in small underground rooms rather than industry showcases. The sound drags black metal through hardcore weight: blast, repetition, low-end pressure, and vocals that stay close to the concrete. Members have also played in Funeral Sutra, Retch, Darkcorpse, Amputee, Swazond, and Black Line Fever. The current release is Starless, Endless, a colder and longer EP released in 2023.
